We use premium 100% medical grade latex. Many band manufacturers use filler materials to cut down on costs, which ultimately causes the bands to stretch out and break down over time. We don't cut corners, which is why our bands cost upwards of 20% more to manufacture, but they last up to 3 times longer than typical resistance bands.
Clench bands are manufactured using many thin layers of latex that are bonded together. Layers are crucial to long lasting performance because small cuts and tears cannot propagate from layer to layer. Most inexpensive bands on the market are molded using a single layer of material, which can prematurely fail and snap.
Seams are the weakest point of any band. They can peel or fray and cause premature failure. Clench bands only have 1 seam and we have taken extra measures to protect it with a latex weld to prevent peeling. Most competitive bands tend to have more than one seam and do not use a latex weld to prevent peeling.
There are 8 different channels and slots on this footplate that are designed to make it possible for you to do more exercises easily and effectively.
The size of the footplate allows you to take up extra slack in the bands so you can get great tension throughout the rep range!
The footplate spreads the pressure of the bands out evenly, and makes it easier to set yourself up into various exercises without putting excess pressure on your feet or joints.
This footplate is made from a solid sheet of 1.5 inch thick UHMWPE Polymer capable of handling loads up to 1000 lbs. (Note: Made from 100% Virgin UHMWPE material)

United StatesHad shoulder replacement 3 months ago(I don’t recommend it) and have just been able to start some resistance training to get some strength back, bands and the handles have great so far for me while trying to to get back to regular weights, and will use them in addition as time goes by.
United StatesGreat! I've alway bought bands from Iron Woody Fitness because of their quality. Recently, I learned they will no longer sell bands due to issues with the manufacturer of the bands. This event prompted me to give Clench a try. Upon receiving and using the Clench bands, I found their quality to be equal to or better than Iron Woody. This is saying something since the quality of Iron Woody bands were at the top IMO.
United StatesAfter a battle with cancer, my guy was given the all clear and told he should begin a strength training program. His PT strongly recommended bands to start with as he'd experienced a lot of muscle wasting post chemo and was struggling with traditional weights. I already owned a set of your 13"bands that I'd been weaving into my workouts for months now, so decided I'd get the band set from you knowing the quality and durability already. Since I'd never done a band only routine, I sprung for the Strength program and a set of handles. He's done absolutely amazing on the program and the handles make using the bands more comfortable for him, as well as not leave his hands hurting after. I've even begun adding some of the band exercises into my own free weight workouts and truly feel it's taken them to the next level. We recently added the barbell hooks and he loves them. I would definitely recommend your products to anyone.
