So,I am only on workout #2 and already loving my new Clench Fitness set.I bought double of the set which goes up to the green bands.So far,using these Clench Fitness bands has allowed me to drop a lot of free weight usage from my leg workouts and drop free weights completely from my upper body workout (except for pull-ups,still going to see how I can use the bands w that exercise),though I will keep a small set of dumbbell weights to supplement when necessary and bars to use w the bands.The handles are useful,but not quite as useful for hammer curls as I would like them to be.Yet I rent and cannot put up a wall mount,and have to stand on my bands...I did workout doing standing alternating curls(w handles and 2 green and black bands,standing on all w both feet for full stretch),which I normally do w two 57.5 and 60 lb dumbbells for 8 and 5 reps.The force of the bands was equal,but works more muscles.Many more muscles than just the biceps were engaged - even my legs and core...Also did hammer curls w just the bands and no handles.I did preacher curls the same way,wrapping the bands around the back base of my bench,while laying belly down over the bench at 1st incline.All of these exercises for strength at low reps,bw 5 and 8...Also worked my triceps and lats,doing high reps on basic tricep press and skullcrushers,running the band under my bench for full stretch,as well as lat raises - again running the bands properly under the bench...After my workout,I did 750 crunches and just wanted to keep going,but my muscles were fatigued.Strangely,I noticed that I did not feel near as sore as I have from previous free weight workouts;my joints did not hurt as usual after either workout...The only suggestions I have for Clench Fitness would be to create a small velcro strap to hold multiple bands together so they don't scatter when laid down,and possibly some kind of device to keep the straps from slipping over the arms when doing press exercises - which doesn't happen too much.As well,I think they should offer the gray band w the kit I bought,but I'll add that myself anyway..No real complaints,though,from me - just suggestions.I am excited about working out again and at 43,looking forward to seeing what these Clench Fitness bands can do for me in the long run because I still have a long way to go...Thank u,Clench Fitness!
The handle and anchor are the must have items to complete the home gym bands (brought the full band array) for a true gym workout. I love the full set up and the real feel pump.
It took me a workout or two to figure out how (for me) to best use the handles. Once I got it, the workouts have been greater and greater. These anchor straps have made all the difference! I have found a wide variety of ways to use them for optimal exercise positioning.
I purchased two anchors along with orange red and purple bands. Since the beginning of COVID I have decided to workout hard and get in shape. So far I have gone from 210-175lbs. in 5 months. Another goal of mine was to gain muscle in addition to the weight loss. The stores have been bare and it is almost impossible to find any workout equipment. All I had was a pair of 20lb dumbbells and an adjustable bench. This worked great except I needed more weight and more variation in my routine. Then I found Clench fitness! These bands with the added handles are perfect for extra exercises added to my routine! I can work my triceps chest and back a 100x more effectively. I feel the added burn and can really tell a difference since adding the bands to my workouts! You can also wrap them around your back then around the dumbbells for added weight for bench press.
